Good news!
We’re constantly surrounded by bad news these days. Whether it’s on the news channels, the Internet, or social media, it seems like negativity is everywhere—politics, war, the economy, and more. Isn't it time we hear some positive news? I’d love to share some good news with you.
The Problem
The problem we all face is that sin separates us from God. Everyone sins, by both nature and choice, and because of this, we deserve God's punishment. Sin is also the reason for all the evil, suffering, and sadness in the world. The Bible teaches that the result of our sin is death, both physical and spiritual. But there’s good news: God has a solution to this problem.
The Provision
That solution is Jesus. God sent Jesus, His only Son, to live without sin and die in our place for the wrongs we've done. Through His death, Jesus satisfied God's anger and removed our sin. Then, three days later, He rose from the dead, defeating sin and its power.
The Promise
The Bible promises that if we trust Jesus as our Savior, He will forgive our sins, give us a new life, and grant us eternal life with Him in heaven—a place with no pain or suffering.
In summary, the Good News is that God became a man in Jesus, making Him both fully God and fully human. He lived a perfect, sinless life, died in our place to pay for our sins and save us, and rose from the dead three days later, victorious over sin and death.
If you believe this to be true, and you want to acknowledge Jesus as your personal Savior, I invite you to pray the following prayer:
“God, thank You for loving the world so much that You sent Your Son, Jesus, so that anyone who believes in Him will not die but have eternal life. Jesus, thank You for taking my place and giving me the gift of eternal life. Please help me live in a way that shows my thankfulness for this incredible promise. In Jesus' name, Amen.”
